ARTIST STATEMENT
Movement, emotion, and atmosphere are at the heart of my work.
My paintings explore the moments that exist between movement and stillness, a gesture, an embrace, a glance, or the quiet tension before something unfolds.
Working primarily in oil, I balance recognizable form with loose, expressive brushwork, allowing edges, color, and texture to suggest as much as they describe. Dance and music are recurring influences, not simply as subjects, but as ways of expressing rhythm, connection, and emotion.
